Images Not Showing up

your image above isn’t found in a web browser. Your path to the image doesn’t look right(the path to get to were the image is placed) or it is do to the slashes maybe you might want to rename the image and remove the slashes.

slyborg.7wanderers.com/2011/05/slyborg.7wanderers.com/2011/04/avatar.jpg is this the name of the jpg or is this code still contain part of the path in WordPress? It repeats slyborg.7wanderers.com

I am uploading them into the media library, so I am not sure how the path is being set up. Would it just be easier just to load the images into my website’s image folder and link them from there?

That is probably your problem. It is probably going to an image file within you FTP. Look their, if it is not there then I would upload them through your FTP account yourself. This way you know the direct link to it.

If you uploaded through your media library it should be set up through a path like this https://slyborg.7wanderers.com/wp-content/themes/(name of your theme)/images/(then the image file name)

Hmm, it looks like regardless of using the flash uploader or browser uploader that all the paths have the extra address when I use the media uploader, I guess I will just upload them via FTP. Thank you for your help!

Your welcome. Yeah they do. Though when you download them through the media library it should have automatically insert the code for you. However, you said it did and its not working. I always found it easier to do it myself, then I know the direct path.

For my images, I created a file folder in my documents with all my images then uploaded it to my FTP account where you would see the files for wp-content, wp-admin & so on. Then the code is a lot shorter to write. It would be like this for you
