• Hi. Will try to keep this short and to the point ??

    – upload images to gallery
    – files for images load into folders
    – thumbnails broken
    – images in galley show as broken

It stopped showing images a few days ago on WordPress 4.6, and I hoped going to 4.7 would fix the issue.

I use Nginx 1.11.3 on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS

    Thank You

    @48-14,

Please go to to Options>Thumbnail Options and press Recreate thumbnails button. If this doesn’t resolve the issue make sure that you don’t have hosting limitations with working with large-scale images.

My website is hosted in a VPS having 20 mb of max file size parameter.
I am uploading very light images of 50kb
I face the same problem (i.e thumbnails are broken)
you can see the problem in the following snapshots.

    image1
    image 2

I regenerated the thumnails but they still broken.

Note that the galleries are shown appropriately so I don’t think that the max file size is the source of the problem.

Could you assist me to solve this problem.

I can grant the plugin admins a remote access using teamviewer to try to found the problem source.

    Cordially,

    Hi,

I did try this step before posting, and again to be sure…doesn’t work.

    Hi @48-14,

I confirm that regenerating thumbnails dos not resolved the problem.

Hello! I can confirm I am facing the same issue since the december 8th update.

The problem is that the thumbnails aren’t created anymore whenever a new image is uploaded to the server hence the broken thumbnails in both the upload window and galleries. The issue can be circumvented by manually creating the thumbnails for now.

I’m drowning into work right now, but I’ll try to pinpoint the exact issue when I’m done with the most urgent stuff if the bug is still open. ??

    Cheers!

    Dear users,

The latest update doesn’t include any scripts which will affect the thumbnail display. Please contact our support team using the form.

Hello again, after a more careful investigation I realized the error was on my side: I updated my server the same day the new version was released and mistakenly believed it was responsible for the problem while the culprit was the lack of php-gd on my new server installation.

Thanks for your answer and my sincere apologies for the false-flag! ^^

    Cheers!
