Images Not Showing Up At All

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m new to WordPress and I’m having some trouble getting things working. None of the images that I insert into posts are showing up and in Media the thumbnails don’t appear.

    Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Am I missing something?

  • do you see an error message in the popup right after you have uploaded an image?

    No no error message…

    BUT, It’s surprising how quickly these things can resolve themselves as soon as you ask for help… ?? (so it is now resolved).

    I think the problem was with the file path for the images. I went to Settings>Media and changed “Store Uploads In This Folder” to the default suggestion. I don’t know when I changed it to anything else but now it is back everything is fine.
