• Hi Tom,
I originally posted this question on the GeneratePress forum:

I am using your Show Posts plugin on my static home page, but the images from the posts are not showing up, even though the box is checked. Do I have to add them separately?

Since I posted that question, I have been tinkering with the plugin and I thought that this may be occurring because I am not using a featured image in my posts, but instead am just including an image within the posts. However, when I tried creating a featured image on a post, the image still did not show up in the Show Posts list on the home page. I then thought I solved the problem by changing the Show Posts content from “excerpt” to “full” and using the “more” tag on each post, but then I had to manually add the “…” to the post or else it would just end in the middle of a sentence. This looks ok in the Show Post list, but makes each actual post look weird with a “…” in the middle of a sentence. And when I tried putting “read more” or something similar in the “read more text” box in the content section of Show Posts, the text shows up in a box that is too far below the excerpt. (If none of this makes sense, I’ll try posting screen shots!) Here is a link to the page as it looks right now (I realize the images are weird sizes…) https://americanspaces.state.gov/home/

    Thanks.
    Sonya

    Hi there,

Setting the featured image should make them display.

Do any of those posts have a featured image set so I can take a look?
