Images not showing up on Facebook

  • Whenever I manually post to Facebook from one of my sites the images never show up. On another one they do show up. What am I doing wrong?

    Did you allowed your website to be indexed ? This can block images.

    Depending on the theme, the image handling can be pretty different. If the theme call the images by CSS, Facebook won’t see it.

    Another possibility is the age of your website, if it’s pretty new, it can take a bit to Facebook to display images correctly.

    Anyway, you can try your URL with Facebook Debugger here which usually explains some common problems : https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug ??
