Images not shown in Basic Extended Album

  • Using the plugin to insert a Basic Extended Album with a number of Galleries yields a nice a result. All galleries show with title, featured gallery image and description. However, when I click a gallery to view the contents, there is nothing. Nada. No matter which gallery I click the result is the same.

    I found the culprit. NextGEN Gallery conflicts with a (recently installed) plugin called Easy Table of Contents. When I disable the automatic creation of a table of contents in a post which has a NextGen code (at least the code for the “Basic Extended Album”) it will work just fine. This is not a huge problem on my site(s). However, I would sincerely like an explanation and a fix.
