Images not updating on site, but are updating in the admin

    So I can update an image in the admin and it saves just fine, but it doesn’t show as updated on the site. It’s not a browser caching issue as I’ve dumped the cache several times. The text in the post updates just fine on the site – it’s just the images, so I’m at a bit of a loss.

  • Hi Wendy,

    Sorry you’re having trouble with your images not updating. Do you have any caching plugins installed for WordPress (like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache)? If so, try disabling the caching plugin and then re-enabling it. If that doesn’t work, can you give us a link to your site for further review?

    It turned out it was a plugin called “Get the Image” that was preventing it from updating. Disabled it and “presto”! Guess it doesn’t like the latest WordPress 3.3.1!
