In the past it’s been because the images/file names were too large, on correction of these issues the images uploaded fine.
Now on a different site, with two images I’m having similar problems. it returns an HTTP error?
‘accomplishment-rockface-adult.jpg HTTP error’
They are showing as a blank image in the library, but I can see the many images in CPanel in ‘File Manager’ (FM). When I upload via FM they uplaod into the correct (Year/Month) folder , but do not show in Media Library in WP?
I have eventually got one of these images to upload OK, but still having an issue with one of them, it only 1.4MB with a small file name?
These are images that I really need on the site, can anyone give me a reason or a workaround?
Thanks

Hope this helps. Please let us know.
]]>I have tried:-
Solution 1: Confirm the HTTP Error
Solution 2: Switch Browsers
Solution 3: Deactivate Plugins
Solution 4: Increase WordPress Memory Limit (took copy first)
Solution 8: Check Your PHP Version (7.2)
Solution 9: Clear Your Caches
with no fix, I’m reluctant to do the others as it’s out of my area of expertise, the risks are too great.
I’m prepared to live with it, thanks
