Images Not Uploading

  • Hi There,

    I am trying to create a new post and unfortunately the images just continue to load without anything actually uploading.

    I have tried looking to see if I need to upgrade my storage but am having real issues locating where this would be. I have also tried clearing the cache, using a different browser and looking for updates – none of which have helped.

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thank you so much @kartiks16 – though to be honest your response is scary to me as I have never disabled plugins and don’t know how to do any of this. Eek!

    Do you have any further advice on this step by step by chance?

    Hey dianafam,

    I understand your concern here.

    To be on safe side keep one complete backup of the site which includes both the source code and database.

    This plugin I suggested will help you to disable the plugin in a smooth and easy way.

    Once you have the backup, you no need to fear you can always revert back if anything goes wrong.

    If that seems to be out of your expertise, you might need some professional to do this for you.
