• Hey guys, really weird question for you. My images are all off center. It’s hard to describe, but they are always pushed up against the left of right side of the border when I post an image with a caption. This just started happening recently, and I don’t know what could have caused it.

My site has been heavily modified, I’ve installed the wp.osc package, which integrates and OS commerce storefront. But it everything was working just fine for months and all of the sudden the only thing that changed were these damn images/borders!

Take a look for yourself at https://www.toughbookuniverse.com . I just can’t figure it out.

  • Hi,

Check your sidebar and body image settings from style.css file of your theme and make it to alignment to center…or whatever you wish to be display..

    Thanks,

This is the source code I’m having trouble with that I pulled out of Internet Explorer while viewing my site.

    <div id="attachment_167" class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 310px"><a href="https://www.toughbookuniverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/f8_clamshell_300.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-167" title="f8_clamshell_300" src="https://www.toughbookuniverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/f8_clamshell_300.jpg" alt="A clamshell view of the F8" width="300" height="300" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">A clamshell view of the F8</p></div>

I am not extremely knowledgable with css, but I have a pretty good understanding. Can you please explain why in my style sheet I don’t have an entry for “wp-caption alignleft”, only for “wp-caption” (which is set to align center)? Also, the same problem for “wp-caption-text”. Can you kind of steer me in the correct direction?
