Images on Homepage very ugly

  • My images on each posts are ok. But the same images on the homepage https://heimarbeit-erfahrungen.com/ are very ugly (especially in the mobile view, which is the most important view).
    For example if you scroll down to page 2, the featured image of clickworker is so bad, that you just see the letters WO.
    How to fix this? I want that the images on homepage are looking same like in the posts. That they are complete and not just fragments.
