Images opening on new blank page iso Thickbox

    On my website https://tinyurl.com/bo3tu9t (running on wp 3.5.1.) I am having trouble getting NextGen to work properly. No matter what I try the plugin keeps opening the images on a new blank page. In the plugin menu I have set the effect to thickbox, and looking at the code with firebug it should work.

    I have tested the plugin with exactly the same options with another theme, and the plugin seems to work fine there.

    What is going wrong here?

    I think you answered your own question. Seems like you have a conflict with the theme. Not all themes are written the same. Probably some sort of Java conflict.

    You can verify by going to Gallery->Overview.

    On the right hand side you should see Plugin Check. Click Check Plugin to see if there’s issues.

    Try a few more themes.

    Ok so I found what the problem is. By looking at my website with Firefug I found out the the Nextgen .js and Thickbox.css were not loaded. I’ve manually implemented both codes in my theme and it works now, but I would like to why it does not automatically loads both codes?

    I’ve deleted all my .js files, not results, only included jquery.js, no results. The NextGen Plugin Check tells me the plugin should be compatible with my theme.
