Images outside wp-uploads

    Hello,

    I’m using a 3rd party plugin which uploads really big images to be sold on my website.

    These images are in another place than wp-content/uploads, and they aren’t uploaded via or to the media library.

    The question is, will the plugin optimize this images as well?

    The task would be to not to optimize these images

    Hi @tomiqa

    For the moment, we do not assure support on external media libraries, which are using non “classical” WordPress approach.

    However, if your media library is using the classical approach, it should run without any problem. Just try, 2 possibilities :
    – it finds pictures and then optimizes them
    – it won’t find nothing, and won’t optimize your pictures.
