• Hey everyone,

    So I just created a new website with a free WordPress theme. My site is Hardgainer Workout Routine.

    If you visit the website, you will notice that the images on certain posts overlap the one below it.

    My question is simply that: how can I adjust those posts so that there is no overlap? It seems as though the excerpts align with how much text is displayed, not how long the image is. If I enter enough text so that it lines up with the bottom of the image, and then I cut off the excerpt with the “More” tag with editing the post, the image will be properly displayed with no overlap.

    I am wondering if there is a way to modify (the CSS perhaps?) so that the excerpts adjust to the length of the picture, and there is no overlap.

    And yes, I tried moving the “More” tag below the image. It still cuts it off!

    On that same note, is there a way to have the picture automatically adjust to a certain size for the post preview, and then adjust to the original size after the visitor clicks “Read more?”

    I really do appreciate any help in this matter! Thank you in advance.

  • Try adding:

    .more-link {
    clear:left;
    display:block;
    }

    to style.css

    Thanks for the quick response!

    This also works:

    Edit index.php, archive.php, search.php, single.php
    Find post_class() and replace it with post_class(“clearfix”)
