I have deactivated Photon from my admin page. However, even after deactivating it for around 5-6 hours, the images on related posts are trying to use the WP CDN to render the images. Please advise how to fix this. I have cleared all cache.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Jetpack’s Related Posts rely on Photon to resize each image, so the look of the Related Posts remains the same even if the original images are much bigger. You won’t be able to remove Photon from those links, since it would effectively break the layout of the Related Posts.

Could you let me know why you wanted to disable Photon for those links? Did you experience issues with Photon with some of your images? Is there anything I can help you with, to make sure the images are always displayed properly?

    Hi Jeremy,

Whenever I enable Photon for my website, none of the images appear on the website as if they are not loading. hence, I had to disable Photon.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Bumping post to see if I can get a reply. Having the exact same issue as Nitesh mentioned above. Images not showing on Related Posts.

Message is: “We cannot complete this request, remote data could not be fetched”.

Not sure about this error @outeraudio but disabling the plugin entirely, deleting the folders from FTP and re-installing worked for me.

@niteshluharuka I’m glad to hear you could figure this out, and I’m really sorry I hadn’t replied to your first message; it looks like I had completely missed your reply 6 months ago, for some reason.

@outeraudio Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

It would also help if you could let me know your site URL there so I can take a closer look. If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Thank you!
