    Hi,

my website is paradigmshift.com.pk and the homepage has a slider which shows pretty big images of our most recent blog posts. Unfortunately, Optimole keeps resizing them or something. Sometimes they fit perfectly (we want them to be big) and something they get small and make the slider look really bad.

When i deactivated optimole, everything was working fine. I tried changing the resize image setting to 5000 width and 5000 height but the same issue persists. Please help me sort this out.
The length and width of the images are of the same size. I do not think its the theme as when optimole is off, it works perfectly. Please find attached the screenshots also. The third screenshot is how it SHOULD look. The first two are the weird ones.

I am sending the screenshots because maybe when you check, it might be fine. But its still not good that I have to wait for it to be “fine” after a while – it should be instant, no?
Sometimes, all the images start working randomly and then they stop.

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Optimole uses the dimensions specified on the img tag to scale the image accordingly.
You can go to Optimole > Settings > Advanced > Exclusions and add “main_slider_img” as an exclusion class for lazy-loading and this should exclude those images from being rescaled. Another fix would be to specify the correct width and height for those images.

Let us know if any of this helps solve the issue for you.
    Thank you!

I tried adding “main_slider_img” in the exclusion for lazy loading and it did not work ??

edit: sorry I did not do it on “class”, i did “filename”. It works now!

    Thanks team optimole!
