Images seem small / blurry – what am I doing wrong?

Hello! I installed this plugin to try to reduce inode quota by this website and get rid of unused sizes. Followed the steps in the helpful tutorial, and the images seem blurry. I must have a setting amiss. Tried uploading a new image (size 809 x 1280) and it gets shown at 190 x 300. Thanks!
