Images show in Firefox but not IE , HELP!!!

    can anyone explain why images will work in firefox but internet explorer? I dont get it.

    I had the same problem until yesterday… My images would display fine on Firefox, Safari, Opera and Safari on a handheld but on Explorer in Vista and XP they would not display at all.

    I changed them from jpgs to gifs and now they are all good across all browsers / platforms.

    Not sure if this is the right fix, but it worked for me.

    I heard the jpg’s colour mode is CMYK! IE (no matter which version) has problems reading these kind of jpg files. And no wonder, since CMYK is meant for print, not for web related work. It should be re-saved as a RGB jpg. Is this correct?
