Images stacking on mobile device

I have the carousel set up and working well when using my laptop, but when I check it out on my Samsung smartphone, the last several images in the gallery are stacked below the main carousel strip of images.
Initially, one row of images appear (without the navigation buttons), but as I use my figure to slide the carousel, eventually two rows of images appear, and then the navigation buttons slide in from the right to left and continue to slide with the carousel off the screen with the images. Then it goes back to just one row of images, though the spacing is still there for two rows. Sorry for the run-on sentence.
I am using Woothemes Canvas. It only happens when looking at the site on my phone. If I “squeeze” the browser window when on my laptop, it doesn’t stack.
