Image Thumbnails display issue after updating

There were no changes related to image sizes in the latest release, so I’m not sure what might happen. You can try giving this a try to change the image size to better accommodate your images https://docs.themeisle.com/article/852-how-to-change-blog-image-size-in-hestia

This did the job. But I am still confused and I think this should be investigated.

If you follow the logical progression, you can clearly see there is a problem:

1) WordPress + Hestia installed, and set-up. All good: https://i.imgur.com/XijaEjw.png

2) WordPress 5.4 update + Hestia Update rolls in, and now both websites (I have two) have exactly the same issue without a single change: https://i.imgur.com/PcBWBqN.png

3) Now we have to install a extra plugin to make it work again, to make it look the way it did before the update(s), and on top of that, slower dashboard (not significant though) with extra code it has to run (an extra plugin).

It definitely seems, that there is something wrong , when everything is fine, updates comes and now we have to use some extra plugin to make it work again.

This is not a complaint. Just wondering….

Hi,

I’ve tried upgrading from WP 5.3 to WP 5.4 and couldn’t replicate this. Maybe you can also share from which version of Hestia did you update to the latest one.

I have set-up 2 websites 4 days ago. Both used Hestia (v2.5.6). I think Yesterday, new WordPress version rolls out and Hestia releases an update to v2.5.7.

Both Websites now had all of the thumbnails zoomed out. I have fixed it with that plugin you recommended, but it still is very odd I had to do that.
