images to appear distorted in the email showing the post
-
When it send the posts to the subscribers, it give the images in the posts a width value of 46% with inline CSS. This causes the images to appear distorted in the email showing the post.
-
Hey there – could you please share the image with its original size with us so that we can test it on our end? Also I need two more information:
- Have you placed the image between the posts or used it as a featured image?
- Have you used any external custom CSS for customizing the image on the original blog post?
Have you placed the image between the posts or used it as a featured image? yes this is models > gallery >2 imeges side by side block.
Have you used any external custom CSS for customizing the image on the original blog post? nope
When I look at the source code of the images in the post article sent to my e-mail; this is the code >>>>>
<figure style="margin:0 32px 24px;display:block;margin-bottom:16px"> <div style="margin-bottom:24px;margin:0 0 1em;width:46%;margin-left:1%;margin-right:1%;display:inline-block"><img width="500" height="650" src="https://ci3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/udxo6DHYyYBYMxCJN5Bo3URQmzo4vSOKG8RxxpP588qAhzE9whr582C3X0m6vJpoDxZ8JmWX4cTOROpxUYkAkn3IRdpOiptYon_m0AJQ0QwpMUgTZlbdPNU=s0-d-e1-ft#https://www.sunipeyk.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/iettdurak-eski.png" alt="" style="border:none;max-width:100%;margin:0;margin-bottom:0" class="CToWUd a6T" data-bit="iit" tabindex="0"><div class="a6S" dir="ltr" style="opacity: 0.01; left: 894.15px; top: 1792.7px;"><div id=":pi" class="T-I J-J5-Ji aQv T-I-ax7 L3 a5q" role="button" tabindex="0" aria-label="Download attachment " jslog="91252; u014N:cOuCgd,Kr2w4b,xr6bB; 4:WyIjbXNnLWY6MTc3OTUzOTcyNTQ2NDM1MTI4MSIsbnVsbCxbXSxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxbXSxbXSxbXSxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLFtdXQ.." data-tooltip-class="a1V" jsaction="JIbuQc:.CLIENT" data-tooltip="Download"><div class="akn"><div class="aSK J-J5-Ji aYr"></div></div></div></div></div> <div style="margin-bottom:24px;margin:0 0 1em;width:46%;margin-left:1%;margin-right:1%;display:inline-block"><img width="500" height="650" src="https://ci3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/KabKRLZnPtVm4Tw-yYH7uNylrLwWLjL0Vj_6lrWUTSsSWOht9f5sMKGaFAsJE5nkpTPNpBhtbA14BDfcc0yNevdkhTASgUbd8m4f84N50qr3N7M_fj2KwIk=s0-d-e1-ft#https://www.sunipeyk.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/iettdurak-yeni.png" alt="" style="border:none;max-width:100%;margin:0;margin-bottom:0" class="CToWUd a6T" data-bit="iit" tabindex="0"><div class="a6S" dir="ltr" style="opacity: 0.01; left: 1175.4px; top: 1792.7px;"><div id=":pk" class="T-I J-J5-Ji aQv T-I-ax7 L3 a5q" role="button" tabindex="0" aria-label="Download attachment " jslog="91252; u014N:cOuCgd,Kr2w4b,xr6bB; 4:WyIjbXNnLWY6MTc3OTUzOTcyNTQ2NDM1MTI4MSIsbnVsbCxbXSxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxbXSxbXSxbXSxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLFtdXQ.." data-tooltip-class="a1V" jsaction="JIbuQc:.CLIENT" data-tooltip="Download"><div class="akn"><div class="aSK J-J5-Ji aYr"></div></div></div></div></div> </figure>
You can see that images are not responsive in mail… it shrinks only width but not height. ( see ” …width:46%; … ) (in bold .. i tried to make it for your attention :)) it seems thats the problem…i suppose)
As you know, I cannot interfere with the codes of the e-mails sent.Jetpack coded it.
And finaly the url of this specimen post’s url is ; https://www.sunipeyk.com/iett-otobus-durak-tabelalari/
And plus yes this is models > gallery >2 imeges side by side block.
every time i use this block it makes same deformation. But i dont know but 1 month ago it was just fine… this begins in 1 month i think.
by the way its not a good idea to use inline css’, we cant override it because you know inline beats the other css’
Any way thank you for your further helps,
Waiting for your reponse.

Gallery block: images don’t scale vertically in emails , Unfortunately, it was neither resolved nor taken care of.
Hello there,
Gallery block: images don’t scale vertically in emails?, Unfortunately, it was neither resolved nor taken care of.
The issue is still open, and at this point I do not have an estimation of when it will be addressed. I recommend that you continue following the issue. Thank you for your patience!
Hello there,
Since the issue is being tracked on GitHub, I will go ahead and close this thread for now.
If you have any other new questions, please create a new support thread here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/jetpack#new-post
Thank you!
Hello,
Closing this thread and marking it “resolved” must be different things. But i am really tired of it that you do nothing but coming here to make the “status resolved” !!!! so as you wish… marked it as “resolved” here!
You did not fix this problem in version 6.5. I wonder why? Anyway, I give up, no one cares anyway.
Hey @sunipeyk,
We are marking the thread as solved as that’s a way to close this. Because the issue is being addressed in GitHub, we recommend subscribing to that thread to follow along, so you will get a notification when there is progress in the problem’s resolution.
You’re welcome to comment on the GitHub thread and ask questions over there.
Keeping this thread open while the discussion has been moved to Github is not efficient – that is why we closed it. Hope it makes sense!
Hey @erania-pinnera, all the respect, it makes no sense!!! Where no body cares there on github over 5 months…
Hey @sunipeyk,
I do understand your frustration, and I see that you have asked the same question in GitHub too. I am confident our developers will get back to you.
Unless you have other questions about that you can’t address directly in GitHub, keeping this thread open won’t help the issue progress — this is why we tend to close threads in such cases.
