Hello, I’m wondering if there is a way to make the images fade in/out on eachother instead of showing the white background behind it while changing? Right now I feel like it’s just blinking, but with a nice transition I’m sure the site I’m working on will look more classy. ; )

    Here’s the site: https://www.bluewebworks.com/antoinette

(I’m in the middle of editing so things might be moving around…!)

And on a side note, I just want to get it out there that this is such a great plugin. It might be the extra youtube video, but I’ve been looking for a slideshow plugin on and off for my WordPress sites for almost a year now and this is the first time I’ve found one that 1) I can get to work and 2) can bend to my will!! …almost.

So… thank you so much for building this!! : )

Thanks! I am glad you find it useful. I am actually working on a newer version that will improve the transitions. For now, if you know anything about jQuery, you can change it. The transition is located at the bottom of the js file in the plugin. If not, you may want to wait. ??

Good to hear! I had the same thought as bearsandballoons – it would also be nice if we had some control over the transitions, like say if we could make the ‘slider’ actually slide instead of fade in/fade out ??

    Thanks!

Can you tell me if it is possible (or really, how to) have the transition scroll images, vs. Fading? I have tried a couple of things, but don’t want to muck up the plugin.
    Thanks!
