Images which i uploaded recently are not showing up.

Do you have the same problem after switching to the default theme Twenty Thirteen with all plugins deactivated?

Krishana, Yes. I have done that. But the problem is remains same.

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check if everything still works OK.

If the above step also does not help, contact your host as server restrictions imposed by your host can be causing the problem.

Look at the path supplied, it’s not in wp-content. Changing permissions there won’t make any difference.

I changed the permission to my images folder but problem was still there.

And i moved the image to wp-content and changed wp-content permission as told by you. Still problem persists. ??

When was the uploads folder changed to a custom path?

esmi, From the begining i was using custom path but the problem started today.

Contact your hosts and ask them to check whether you have a folder ownership problem.
