    Hi,

whenever I try to drag and scale the image in gutenburg editor and then view the blog post preview or publish a post, the image size does not change to the width and height I want it to. Instead it’s either a default size or full size (when I select full width).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

When I inspect my images, it seems that there is an inline style called max-width which is set around 500px, I tried to resize the image sizes in settings > media however it doesn’t seem to fix the issue.

    Hi @ibmhkwn,

I believe the block editor sets the inline style max-width to match the content width when adding images without alignment. If you set the images to the Wide alignment, you should be able to increase their width (but only up to the “Wide” width set in the Hamilton styles, by default).

Hi @anlino Thank you for your response! The max-width is about half of my content size so the image never seems to match the text. I tried adjusting the width with the “Wide” width set however it doesn’t seem to be scalable and doesn’t respond to setting the image sizes from “Large” “Full Size” “Medium” etc. I have also tried to regenerate thumbnails but it seems the image is either one wide size or the size the matches the max-width. Is there any way I can change the max-width to my own size or to 100% so that the image is responsive/scalable?

    Thank you!

After going through my plugins, I deactivated Jetpack and the images are no longer shrinking.

    Thank you
