    Postie is telling you what PHP is reporting. Postie looks to see if the function imap_mime_header_decode() is available which is part of the PHP IMAP library https://php.net/manual/en/book.imap.php
    It is possible you are using a different IMAP library.

    ah, ok. That makes sense, because there are a few problems with the system at the moment.
    I’m running Yosemite OS X 10.10, the Golden Release 3. It comes with php installed, but unfortunately it’s a slightly earlier version than is current.
    So I’ll wait till the final release is made for it, and take it from there. I can install map of course, but the next developer release of Yosemite will only trash it anyway .
