img_size does not work

    I just installed WP Links Page.

    When I set the screenshot size to 500px width, no screenshots can be made (the process never ends), even though I have entered a Google API key.

    More important: Regardless of what img_size I choose, the screenshots are always shown in the same huge size, with bad resolution and even ignoring the page boundaries.

    I use the shortcode:

    [wp_links_page display=”grid” cols=”3″ orderby=”ID” order=”ASC” img_size=”thumbnail” img_style=”box-shadow: 0 5px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.2),0 5px 15px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.19);” title_style=”font-weight: bold” desc=”content”]

    Is there an error in the plug-in, or do I make a mistake?

    Hello,

    The images are responsive and will always fill the container they are placed in. You are using a full width template as your display page; you may want to choose another. To get a higher resolution for images remove the var for image size in shortcode img_size=”thumbnail or replace it with img_size=”full”

    The google API has been giving a little trouble, give it a couple more days.

    Changing the template type of the page and using img_size=”full” solved the problem, thanks a lot!
