  • Hi,

When you add or edit a feed, check “Show map on imported events” option and the map will appear.

Our calendar recognizes events that are imported as being “owned” by someone else.
Therefore, when the manual/automatic update occurs, it’s always going to overwrite the existing events. This ensures you are importing any updates, edited events or new events that have been added by the “owner.”

As a workaround you can add a feed, delete the feed, and select “Keep Events” when prompted. Now the calendar will recognize these events as being “owned” by you.
Unfortunately, this means that you will no longer receive updated events since you are no longer subscribed to the feed.

We have a “Preserve changes made to events retrieved from feeds” option with which it is possible to save the changes, but is only available in the Hosted Hub calendar.

    Take care,
    Ben

    Ben,

Thank you for the input. Question: I have turned on the “Show map on imported events” and it only maps the city, state, zip – not the specific location.

For example, if I have an event in my feed with the location “4420 River Road NW, Washington, DC 20016” it imports the event with the correct address displayed on the front-end. However, on the backend under “Event Location Details” it only shows “Washington, DC 20016” therefore the map is a generic map of “20016” not the specific location.

It seems like this is a bug.

    Any help is appreciated.
