    Hello,

I will try to explain the situation as clearly as possible:

We have 3 websites with 5 languages.

On 1 website, we are using TranslatePress with 3 languages: NL, EN, and DE. These are all part of the same WordPress installation. Additionally, we have 2 standalone websites, both of which are separate WordPress installations (so in total, we have 3 WordPress installations). The first standalone website is in Spanish, and the second standalone website is in French.

We want to integrate the two standalone websites (Spanish and French) into the TranslatePress website so that we end up with only 1 WordPress installation containing all the languages. It is important that the URLs, content, and products remain exactly the same, given the SEO value we have built up.

Is it possible to import the standalone websites into the existing TranslatePress website? If so, how can we achieve this while ensuring that everything remains intact?

    Hello,

Unfortunately no. That’s because we do not create standalone pages. We store everything, string by string in the trp_dictionary_* named tables. So we can’t match the original NL content (that your TP website is written in) to the external websites Spanish & French.

It’s not even possible if you write custom code.

Best way would be to create a staging website, enable automatic translation, translate everything in ES and FR and then, manually make changes based on the standalone websites and their information.

    Best Regards,
