    Hi Splitterside,

Your settings actually look ok, but on the ‘Import Settings’ page you had ‘Update existing posts with changed data in your file’ disabled. So no matter what you change your settings to the existing records will be skipped.

I’ve enabled ‘Update existing posts with changed data in your file’, re-ran your import, and the stock/price settings appear to be coming in ok.

Shouldn’t the new items that are created have the correct value as well? When I run the import that way, new items are added, but what if I don’t want existing items to be updated? The new items should at least have the correct stock value that was set in the import file.

What may have happened was that you ran your import with incorrectly configured price and stock settings. Then you changed them to the correct settings and ran your import again, but nothing changed because you had ‘Update existing posts with changed data in your file’ disabled.

This would explain your statement “no matter what I do with changing settings and my import file, the products always import with a stock of 0 and a status of out of stock.

You can verify this by deleting all of the products and then running the import again.
