Import blogger RSS feed into WordPress posts

  • Hi there, I got a new phone that has integration with Blogger so that when I take pics it can automatically upload this to a blog. However, I need a more flexible solution than Blogger but don’t want to have to do everything manually.

    I need to be able to import my blogger posts regularly (using cron) into my WordPress blog (including my pictures). I’ve found ‘feedwordpress’ which is almost what I need. The problem with that solution is that when you click on the post or go to write a comment within WordPress it takes you to the original post on blogger.

    Is there any way to import the Blogger posts into new posts within WordPress so that the user has no idea that the content comes from Blogger?

    It runs fine on my wordpress (www.emgee.se) to fetch data from my mobile blog (mremgee.blogspot.com).
    There’s a problem with making it automatic though. Since my host wont let me run cron-jobs on the server, I’ll have to set, for instance, one of my computers at work to call the update-feeds.php-file every now and then, so it fetches new content.

    As a compensation for my recklessness, I’ll post a link to my upgraded version, in which you’ll have an option to move images to the wordpress site, and rewrite links to match the new URLs…
