  • Hi! I recently installed this plugin and the only way I found to import bulk Email List was to do it in the database. Do it by creating a csv file with the Email list and then import the csv into the table database. Do not forget to create all the fields corresponding to the table en the csv. Otherwise phpmyadmin will show an import error.

Would this be an important feature? If so, I can easily add it. Just let me know.

Definitely something I need. I’ve just installed the plugin, and bulk import was the first thing I went looking for. I have over 2000 email addresses from another application, and I need to import them to the email list. I can export them from the other application as a csv file, so it would be really handy to just import that to IFS Mass Mailer.

Guess I’ll just dive into phpmyadmin and try importing directly into the database as suggested above.

What fields would you consider common? Like e-mail address only or also name? I still have some ideas improving the database, like making the ‘batches’ more usable.

More feedback on the use would help me decide what to change/improve as the plugin just works perfectly for my purpose (with a different configuration option). And I can just use phpmyadmin for database changes and such.

Are you planning on adding this feature? I think it would be great to have it!. Just First Name, Last Name and email address would be more than enough.

    Thank you

Hi Guus, have you implememted the buld import of email addresses yet?
    Thanks
    Tony
