I have imported 35 guestbook files from the joomla database, that came out as a mess. I reordered all the items and brought it into a xlsx spreadsheet with columns.(easybook import.xlsx)
From there I reordered all the columns in the correct order and named them acc to Gwolle 4.0.2, and removed the item as subject etc.
Then I brought the file into libreoffice and exported as csv unicode 8, comma separated.
I am already working days on this so I hope you can help me here, I even considered to put them in as new messages and tryed to alter the input date, but that also did not work. I can send you the xlsx and csv file.
email [email protected] or [email protected]
    Thanks in advance,

    Peter

I also downloaded the gwolle export file to learn the exact writing but that didn’t help either

    Hi Peter,
I see you already sent me some files last Monday. I see the CSV is empty.

In the example file, you can see the first row. That is the name of all the fields. so a fieldname of ID should be id, without caps. Make sure you use the same row with names in your CSV.

    Hi Peter,
The CSV that you sent me works fine for me.
I did have to fix an error in the PHP code. If you are using the add-on, it might be good to deactivate it while importing.

If it doesn’t import for you, can you tell me te error you get?
    It listed 34 entries here.

That was the clou, I deactivated the plugin add from server. 34 items imported.
