I have a fresh install of wordpress on my bluehost account, and i’ve installed woocommerce and deactivated every other plugin. Unfortunately, when I go to upload my rather small csv (600+ products, 750kb) it hangs and doesn’t upload anything. I’ve literally let it sit overnight just to see if it was taking a long time, but nothing uploaded.

Alright, More info on it now:

It’s the images somehow. the images in my import are listed as simple url. When I tell it not to import that column, it comes through just fine. But if I tell it to use the images, that’s when it stalls out. I’ve got the images in a folder on the same server. like this:

Hello,

I was checking into this, I copied that image from the link you shared, please forgive me for doing that without your permission ??

Then I added that image to my site media.

I executed an import and voilà! That worked. You can add the image name to the images CSV column, screenshot example below:

Alright, I solved it. The issue was that some of the images were greater than 512kb which was the php limit on the server. So although my list was well below that, SOME of the images were too high and therefore I had to remove those ones before reimporting. Than it all worked.
