Import defaults to “Test Donation” Gateway

    I have successfully imported 134 offline donations to get our fundraiser started. The import defaults to “Test Donation” gateway when it should be “Offline Donation.”
    I have Test Donations disabled.

    How do I import to the Offline Donation Gateway?

    Or, change my “Test Donations” to “Offline Donations”

    Please advise.

    Here’s an update. I created a column for “Gateway” and then filled it with “Offline Donation” and mapped it to the Payment Method. Each donation now shows the Gateway as Offline Donation.

    However, the donations are not showing up in any reports.

    Dear GiveWP admins. We have installed GiveWP on a fresh WordPress install and have imported our data. The same problem exists. The data is being treated like test data. It shows on one legacy report but no others.

    How do we import or change our imported data to be set as offline donations?

    Please advise.

    Hi @rwickhamdwcorg,

    Thanks for your patience. It seems like if there's no payment gateway associated with the donation, the data will not be included in the report.

What needs to happen here now is the following.
1. Delete all those donations that have "Test Donation" as the payment gateway.
2. Edit the CSV and add a "Payment Method" column and add a payment method for each payment in lower case such as stripe, paypal, etc.
3. Import the CSV again and map the "Payment Method" column.

That should do the trick.
