    Ref https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/fixed-delimiter-mod/

I noticed that (still) the import delimiter is not always correctly determined. The import seems to use multiple delimiters (in my example case a comma AND a semicolon) which really mixes things up….

To solve I applied above mod which works (at least until the plugin updates of course)

I suggest to introduce an option to set a delimiter on the import screen or plugin settings that overrides the auto-select-delimiter…..

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

Starting with version 2.0, TablePress has a new import engine (however, it has some requirements, so if these are not fulfilled, it’s possible that your site will still use the old one), which should be much better with finding the delimiter.

To check that, it would be good if you could provide the CSV file that does not work properly to me. Can you maybe post a link here (or send it via email to the address from the bottom of https://tablepress.org/pricing/ ) so that I can take a look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias
