Import doesn't import updated page content

  • On a simple and new site, I exported “all” of “everything” to the xml file.

    It has static pages only, no posts.

    Because this export had updated page content, I wanted to imported it to another machine that I’ve been working on (same version of WP, same db name, same user info).

    So I installed the “importer”, which must be new with ver 3. But it didn’t update/overwrite existing content, even though it didnt give me any errors.

    The file size of the xml file is only 221kb.

    Any help?
