• I just installed your plugin on a few sites. I imported the data from another plugin, SEO Framework. But Yoast’s importer is apparently designed to ignore changes made since the last time I used Yoast, which was 6+ years ago. So on every page where I’ve improved the meta description since Yoast, it ignores that and goes with what it had 6 years ago.

This is a poor design choice, and it’s forcing me to use RankMath, which doesn’t even have an importer for TSF. So I installed SEOPress, imported from TSF to SEOPress, and from SEOPress to RankMath, and that was a much smoother experience than trying to import from Yoast.

I can’t think of a good reason why your importer is designed that way. I will probably end up giving RankMath money, and that’s money that could have gone to Yoast had you allowed me to override the old meta data. Either give people the option to override, or do what everyone else does and tell them it’s going to override all the previous Yoast data.
