import error – disable all widgets

    I disabled all widgets and downloaded the export file.

    when i try to import the file it gives the error message:

    “Import data is invalid.”

    It won’t export inactive widgets so the .wie file is probably empty. Open it in a text editor and share the contents here (if they are not sensitive) if that is the case.

    Thanks for the great plugin and support.

    You’re right that the file is effectively empty and just contains square brackets (“[]”).

    Is there a way to easily and quickly disable all widgets?

    If not, then it’s a great idea for a new plugin!

    I’m not aware of a one-click sort of solution to make all widgets inactive.
