Is there a way to import events? Any user wanting to use your plugin on a big scale will not want to manually type events. I tried to use WP All Import which has worked with every plugin I’ve tried in the past, but your plugin is loading javascript on every page so it blocks the accordions of field names that allow me to import the data. https://pippinsplugins.com/loading-scripts-correctly-in-the-wordpress-admin/

I don’t have to use WP All Import (it’s just the easiest), if you have an alternative. SEP is exactly what I’m looking for, but manually entering events is a deal breaker.

Thank you so much for your help, please advise.

    Hello @jlsouthwick,

We didn’t test our plugin with the WP All Import plugin. Also, we are not sure about its compatibility with the SEP.

Maybe in near future, we’ll develop our own custom add-on for SEP events import and export which will be purely compatible with WP All Import and stick it on our marketplace.

For jQuery conflict with WP All Import can you please contact us at [email protected] so we can provide you the fix.

    Thanks for reaching us out.

I’ve finally had some time to work with your plug-in today and I have two issues I can’t figure out.

After the import runs successfully, what is showing on the event record on the back end, is different than what is displayed on the front end event page. I’ve provided a sample below.

    1. This is how the front end displays as soon as it’s imported: https://thedailydowntown.com/events/downtown-phoenix-event-1/ The event start date is January 1, 1970 but the event end date is correct. Both dates are formatted the same dd-mm-yyyy. 20-05-2018 and 21-05-2018 I know the data is correct in the back because next to the end date it reads (1 day 1 hour) it’s the display that is incorrect.

    2. This warning shows in the Segment area, even though I have “Don’t show segment” checkbox.
Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/apartm90/public_html/thedailydowntown/wp-content/plugins/simple-event-planner/public/partials/simple-event-planner-template-functions.php on line 403

This is what is odd. If I click the Edit link on the event record from the back end and make zero changes and just click the Update button, both errors go away.

Can you help me resolve these errors?

    Thank you so much,
    Jodi

    Hello @jlsouthwick,

As we mentioned above, we didn’t test our plugin with the WP All Import plugin. Also, we are not sure about its compatibility with the SEP.

For your first concern, you can take help from any programmer.

For second, can you please elaborate it with the scenario so we can reproduce it at our end and provide you a fix.

    Thanks & Regards,
