Import/Export Course or Quiz

Hello,

I would like to ask a few questions about the import/export function under “Tools”.

1. I understand that the Export/Import function is actually a tool for migration, rather than helping the Site Administrator or an instructor select a specific course or a quiz for export/import. For testing purposes, as the Administrator, I created two courses – A and B – with one quiz and used the “Export courses” function. Then I used this JSON file for import into the same website. Now I have four courses – two A’s and two B’s. Is there a way to select which courses to export and import? If there is not, then it is a pity that the administrator or the instructor cannot select one of more courses from among their own courses.

2. I logged in as a dummy instructor and – without creating any courses at all – went directly to the import/export section. Once again, I clicked “Export courses”; this way, I had a file with four courses (and please note that these courses are supposed to belong to someone else). Then I imported the same file. The system tells me that the import was completed but I cannot see any courses under my list of courses. I would expect to have two more A and B courses on the Courses page (can it be that the already existing courses were overwritten?). In addition, I believe that it is a very big issue that any instructor can export all the courses in a Masteriyo website. I would not like it if my courses were freely accessible this way. Is there a way to prevent this? The ideal case should be that instructors can export only their own courses.

3. Similarly, importing and exporting quizzes means that all the questions in the website can be freely exported and used elsewhere (once again, ideally, instructors should be allowed to export only their own quizzes). For example, in the JSON file, there are questions about Japan and its number of islands and I believe they come from the dummy installation file. Also, when I import questions, the newly-imported quiz is added to the last course that I created but this is not where I want it to be. Is there a way to select under which course the newly-imported quiz will be listed?
