import export csv

hello i am tryingn to build the product db just using a db file, but it seems as complicated as backend, as i need to write again lots of things for each row, for example, the number, the attributes ecc…is there a way that i do not need to write them again for each row? what is the correct procedure for doing this job?I need to setuo mainly variable products

in my test i can get some result, but it happens that if i don’t select the “update” flag it buld again the same product at each import
