Import Folder error – No Images Found

    I am converting from a html based gallery to NexGEN to make it easier for non-html people to help maintain the site. The import folder was working just fine. I hit a problem with trying to import the 2014 challenge images. All folders come back with no images found now. There are images on the server. I can use Filezilla to grab them, put them into a temp folder, add a new gallery and upload.

    I am upto date, using a custom template (included templates same issue), same problem with two browsers. I am hosted at GatorHost.

  • same problem here on hostgator.com seems an they need to do resets the permissions to default.
    Seems that there is an isue with permission when Nextgen import new pictures to an site.

    Hope Nextgen can solve that if they understand what the problem is.

    I am asking my provider to explain exact what the problem is zo i can ask it here again.

    @thephotokenoshagroup – I’m not seeing anything specifically via the page source from your site aside from your theme being generated by an older version of Artisteer which has been problematic in the past.

    Have there been any changes to your site since it was last working as expected?

    No changes, the problem occurred in the middle of reworking the past challenge pages. Even folders that worked before no longer worked. 2013 worked, two folders in 2014, and then none. https://www.photokenosha.com/photo-challenge/past-entries-to-the-challenge/2013-2/ and https://www.photokenosha.com/photo-challenge/past-entries-to-the-challenge/2014-2/ .The problem maybe with HostGator.

    I was wonder what was used to make the theme, I guess it is time to get a new one.

    @thephotokenoshagroup – I’ve used Hostgator for more years than I can remember and I do not experience any issues with NextGEN Gallery that can be attributed to their services; but, as noted, your current theme has proven to create problems in the past due to the version of the software used to generate it.
