Unfortunately, SEOPress is not one of the third-party SEO plugins recognized by Yoast SEO. We do not have the feature that allows you to import your existing SEO settings from that plugin. Supported plugins are listed here.

However, if the SEO plugin you are using is not one of the ones currently compatible with the import feature, there is another WordPress plugin called SEO Data Transporter that can help you in converting the SEO data from one plugin to another. You can read more about the SEO Data Transporter plugin and download it here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/seo-data-transporter/. Please note that prior to making any significant change or migration to another format, we would also first recommend backing up all your data prior to proceeding.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the detailed response.
Given that this other plugin seems to have over 100k installs (probably makes it a major contender), do you think that’s something that you guys can consider adding to the list of imports to Yoast?

@msstm Thanks for suggesting a new feature for our plugin! We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new feature request for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You can create a new issue to submit your feature request. You will need an account to create one.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
