Import from URL failing, but can upload locally

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Did you really choose “HTML” after pasting in the URL? I just tried this URL and had no issues, the table was imported just fine.
    If that’s still not working for you, this could indicate that your server has issues with outgoing HTTP requests.

    Yes, i definitely selected “HTML”

    Is there anyway of getting extra debug info?

    What error message did you get? Do other URLs (like the TablePress demo table from https://tablepress.org/demo/ ) work?

    I get…

    Error: The source for the import is invalid or could not be accessed.

    Just tried your example… it works OK… hmm…

    Hi,

    that’s strange… I can only assume that PHP on your server is configured in way that somehow can not access that URL. ??
    Unfortunately, there’s nothing that I can do about this in TablePress as this issue is happening on a lower level on the server.
