Import hangs after database restored

    Hi,
    I see that after the DB has been restored, a white dialog appears in the middle
    of the screen saying

    “Restaurada la base de datos…”

    and also that

    “Please do not close this browser window or your import will fail”

    the program seems to be still running (it has been for a few hours now) but not sure it is doing anything. Is it normal?

    UPDATE:
    I decided to stop the IMPORT process and after calling my website in the new host (localhost) but I see that the website has been fully restored. However I see that I cannot log in. Actually the login screen doesn’t even appear: after I type

    https://localhost/mysite/wp-admin or wo-login.php

    instead I receive an error page similar to a 404 error page and can’t access my website dashboard.
    What can I do to access the dashboard?
    May the way I stopped the IMPORT have affected the accessibility to the dashboard somehow?

    Are you using any security plugins? If so, disable them and try again. Check mu-plugins folder too in wp-content.

    Hi @yaniiliev
    eventually I realized that the import had worked.
    Yes I have a security plugin. So this didn’t allow me to immediately log in, so I had to resort to disabling all plugin in the directory wp-content/plugins by changing the dir name
    so I could finally login and then re-activate them one by one.
    So now I am done! Thanks for your support Yani!
