    Hello,

    When importing a .xlsx, the dollar signs I have on the price list columns do not appear on the table. They do, however, appear when I export it as a .csv. BUT when I export it as a .csv any text with special characters gets left out (Trademark, Registered, etc.). Is there a way to get all of the content imported in? Not sure if I’m missing something. Everything else works great. I have hundreds upon hundreds of rows that I’d need to manually place a $ in if there is no solution.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Your best chance here is indeed to export as CSV. Then, make sure that everything is stored in the UTF-8 character encoding (e.g. check this in a normal text editor). Unfortunately, Excel is sometimes strange and does not always do this. In that case, it might help to try a different version of Excel or first saving to a different Excel format (.xls) and then from that to CSV.
