    Hello AIOSEO Support team,

We’re currently having an issue with the AIOSEO plugin while being connected to the WordPress administration and using Gutenberg on the frontend of our website.

The following error is displayed in the browser console when we’re using a core/navigation block with the AIOSEO plugin active :
An import map is added after module script load was triggered.
Uncaught TypeError: Failed to resolve module specifier "@wordpress/interactivity". Relative references must start with either "/", "./", or "../".

We’ve noticed that those error aren’t displayed:
    – When we’re on the frontend of our site and not logged in to the WordPress administration
    – When we’re on the frontend of our site and AIOSEO plugin is deactivated

    We’re currently using:
    WordPress (version 6.6.1)
All in One SEO Pack (Version 4.6.7.1)

Please let me know if you need more informations in order to be able to help us solve this issue.

    Have a nice day.
    King regards,

    Hey @unknwnexception,

Thanks for reaching out, and I apologize for the issue you’re facing due to that console error. I’ll do my best to get this sorted at the earliest.

Could you please share your website’s URL along with some more details about the issue and confirm whether you only see the console error or also face issues with any features of your website?

Meanwhile, would you be able to use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/) to debug possible conflicts by following the steps below?

    1. Go to Plugins > Add New and install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click on Troubleshoot below the All in One SEO plugin. This will temporarily disable all other plugins and switch to the default WordPress theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
    3. Check if you’re able to reproduce the issue/console error.
    4. If not, activate your theme and check again.
    5. If you’re still unable to reproduce the issue, activate the plugins one by one and simultaneously check if the issue occurs.
    6. Once you’re done troubleshooting, deactivate and delete the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

Please let me know how this goes. I’m looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks!

    Hey @prabhatrai,

    Thank you for your answer.
Sorry for my late answer, I needed time to be able to test your troubleshooting steps on my website instance.

    # Details about the issue:
Unfortunately I don’t have a demo website ready right now, so I can’t share a website URL with you has the website is still in development.

Regarding the issue, it shows a few errors in the console and prevents the core/navigation block submenus from being shown on hover (this issue seems to only be triggered while being logged in to the WordPress administration).
The rest of the website seems to be working normally.

    # Steps to reproduce the issue:
I’ve used the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin and managed to find a way to reproduce the issue.

Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:
1- Login to the WP Admin
    2- Create a block pattern containing a core/navigation block with a submenu
3- Create a new page and add the pattern on the page
4- Test that the core/navigation submenu is working on hover and that there isn’t any error message in the console

Below are two links to the videos of my debugging sessions:
    [Debugging session n°1]
    WordPress: (version 6.6.1)
Active theme: Twenty-Twenty One (core theme)
Active plugin: All in One SEO Pack (Version 4.6.7.1)
Video: (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WInF21ORmlNO-ekjOgNMerDEfkD3DZis/view?usp=sharing) Observation: Navigation block submenu isn’t working with this core theme

    [Debugging session n°2]
    WordPress: (version 6.6.1)
Active Theme: Twenty-Twenty Two (Core theme)
Active plugin: All in One SEO Pack (Version 4.6.7.1)
Video: (https://drive.google.com/file/d/14CLFlozpXGJdabBjHeW39QoZl_hUKIZs/view?usp=sharing) Observation: Navigation block submenu is working normally with this core theme

Please let me know if you need more informations in order to be able to help us solve this issue.

    Have a nice day.

    Hey @unknwnexception,

    Thanks for the detailed answer.

I followed the steps to reproduce that you’ve shared but was unfortunately unable to reproduce it.

Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the steps to reproduce so I can try to replicate it exactly?

I’m really looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks!

    Hey?@unknwnexception,

Thanks for the amazing screen recording.

I replicated your screen recording exactly, but was unable to reproduce the issue – The menu opens without any console errors even with All in One SEO being active.

Given the situation, it would be really helpful in investigating the issue if I can take a closer look at it.

Could you please reach out to us via the Basic Contact Form on our website so we can closely investigate the issue –

I’m really looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks!
