    hello,

I want to import columns into an already existing table.

But I don’t see this option, when I try to import it add columns to rows, it’s normal I don’t the possibility.

On the Import page there are only 3 choices:

    • Add as a new table
    • Replace existing table
    • Complete the rows of an existing table

    but nothing for the columns.
How to do it, because I see on the forum that it is posisble, but I can not find.

Thanks for your help, and yes Tablepress is perfect, congratulations on your work !

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, appending imported data as columns (on the right side of an existing table) is indeed not possible.

You will need to export the original table first (e.g. as a CSV file) and manually combine everything e.g. in Excel. Then, reupload the file and replace the existing table.

    Regards,
    Tobias
