Import not working

  • Hello we are trying your plugin, we have followed the instructions

    We export from the old site and it’s fine

    But then when we import, tools > import > wordpress

    Then select the path for the authors

    it says it’s all done, but nothing gets imported

    Are we missing a step?

    In my case, when I was trying to export ALL posts at once, I would save the export file. Then when I imported it said that this file type was not correct. I opened the XML file and found there was an error when exporting and that it was timing out. So What I did to resolve this issue is export 4 months of posts at a time and it worked!

    UPDATE: actually I just looked into my posts, and there are no posts, so no this DID NOT work.
