import / old slugs

    redirection gives me the following information:

    >The following redirect plugins were detected on your site and can be imported from.
    >Default WordPress “old slugs” (total = 651 )

    does importing these “old slugs” also include that these entries are cleaned in the DB.
    if not: any recommendation about cleaning the old slugs in the DB with other plugins ?
